Hi! I’m Mario Real, the owner of Recon Landscaping. I started my landscaping journey in my sophomore year of high school, working for a hardscaping/ landscaping company. I’ve always loved being outside and working with my hands, so I figured this summer job would be a good way to make some money. What I didn’t expect was how much I’d love the work. From installing patios to planting huge trees, I was fascinated by the equipment, the process, and the results. Even when I was stuck shoveling compost or running the weed whacker all day, I loved every bit of the work.

My friend and I eventually started our own business, going door-to-door with business cards to rake leaves and shovel snow. Between school and varsity sports, we couldn’t go full-time so things slowed down. During my senior year, I decided to put all my energy into growing Recon Landscaping, stepping away from sports and the traditional college path. It was a hard choice, but absolutely worth it.

Fast forward to today, and Recon Landscaping has grown into a reliable, year-round company. Our focus is consistent, high-quality care that keeps properties looking clean and well-maintained. We take pride in the small details so every lawn is done right.
